Decorating the Tree

Just because we are back home does not mean we have slowed down. Mason was a big helper decorating our tree this year. He enjoyed unwrapping all the ornaments and Mama broke more than he did! I don't know what was wrong with me that night. Patsy and Bob always give us tree decorating packages and thanks to them we enjoyed pizza while we decorated.

We went to the farm and cut down at tree for Mason's room. Mason picked out the perfect one. Last year we had a Griswald tree in there. We didn't realize how much smaller they look on acres of property than they do in a bedroom. Rob had to do a little trimming last year. This year's tree was a perfect fit. The star is a little heavy though. Please notice Mason's train table. He has it set up going to the North Pole and then to Bethlehem past his manger scene. It is his own Polar Express.
