Every year, we get together with the DeWeeses, the Starnes, the Messers, and the Sheppards for Christmas. We use to have dinner at someone's house and then exchange gifts, but the group has gotten so big and with so many children that is not practical anymore. Last year we tried going out to dinner and that was a disaster. So this year we met in the early afternoon for snacks and to exchange gifts and just let the kids play. It was a lot of fun. The kids played while the adults actually got to visit with each other and then the kids exchanged gifts. Mason loves his helicopter! We were glad to have time to visit with Emily and Brent who live in Memphis now.
