Thursday morning Mason and I walked outside to discover cool weather. Just perfect for being outside - maybe even a little chilly! We had no plans so we decided to spend the whole day outside. How much fun! We started with an early morning trip to the zoo to see the giraffes and the leopards especially. One of the elephants was giving herself a mud bath so close to us that we almost got sprayed. Of course we rode the train too. Then we came home and had a picnic lunch in the backyard. After nap we went back outside as pirates in search of buried treasure. Some neighborhood friends came to play too. It was such a fun day! This is my favorite time of the year!
